Graphic Designer

Reed Marketing and Creative are really excited to be working with a leading business services firm who are looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team!. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an in-house marketing team or B2B marketing agency and possess a strong portfolio showcasing branding expertise. This role involves using industry software to create visual designs, liaising with teams to interpret briefs, and developing marketing materials to support sales.

Role responsibilities:

  • Utilise Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to create compelling visual designs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and execute creative/marketing briefs.
  • Design bespoke marketing materials to enhance sales efforts.
  • Participate in meetings to align on design expectations and outcomes.
  • Present draft designs to internal teams and customers for feedback and iterate accordingly.
  • Estimate the time required to complete design tasks.
  • Work on diverse design projects including brand development, social media, email marketing, flyers, catalogues, and exhibitions.
  • Assist in-house teams in improving customer communication through effective design.
  • Generate new ideas and concepts for interactive design.
  • Proofread designs to ensure accuracy and high-quality output.
  • Demonstrate sketching skills for layouts and prepare designs for print.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for photography and 3D imagery creation.

Person specification:

  • Proven experience in a similar Graphic Designer role within an in-house marketing team or B2B marketing agency.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating branding work.
  • Proficiency in design software including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work methodically.
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of After Effects.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software.
