Description
- Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni effectively.
- Organise and manage alumni events, reunions and networking opportunities.
- Oversee the alumni communication channels such as newsletters, social media and website.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to promote university achievements and initiatives.
- Facilitate opportunities for alumni to contribute to the university community.
- Track and report on alumni engagement metrics.
- Manage alumni data and ensure its accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of alumni relations staff.
Profile
A successful Alumni Relations Manager should have:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- Experience in alumni relations or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- A creative approach to developing engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and databases.
