Security Service/Reactive Engineer

Salary: £35,000 £45,000 basic doe
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Service / Reactive Engineer to join our team in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a security engineer with experience in servicing and reactive maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and door entry systems.
Responsibilities
- Conducting servicing and reactive maintenance of security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and door entry systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with security systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conducting system diagnostics and repairs, and conducting system upgrades as required.
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
- Following industry standards and best practices for security system installations and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a security engineer with strong knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and door entry systems.
- Familiarity with IP and analogue systems, dual com, and communication devices.
- Knowledge of major brands and products within the security industry.
- Understanding of emergency lighting and compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving license.
Day-to-day
- Receive and prioritize reactive maintenance requests from clients.
- Conduct on-site visits to diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems.
- Install, upgrade, and carry out maintenance as per the clients' requirements.
- Document all services performed and provide detailed reports to clients and the management team.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in security technology to offer the best possible solutions to clients.
