Head of Finance
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 from home
Reporting To: Managing Director

A leading manufacturing business based in Knutsford is seeking a Finance Leader to take ownership of its finance function and join its Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a business aiming to be best in class worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own all financial operations, controls, and compliance
- Lead month-end close and management accounts
- Build and maintain a rolling 12-month forecast
- Track and analyse order intake, income, margin, overheads and EBIT
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to turn insight into action
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Oversee payroll, tax, VAT, statutory reporting, audit and ERP transition
- Develop and mentor a highly experienced team member
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Experience in a financial leadership role within manufacturing
- An understanding of the complexities of working in a global business
- Strong grip on controls, reporting and compliance
- Commercial mindset and ability to create clarity from complexity
- Personable, hands-on approach with high resilience and curiosity
- Able to wear multiple hats and thrive in a senior, visible role
