Customer Service Co-ordinator

We are looking for a Customer Service Co-ordinator for our client based in Exeter. The main purpose of this role is to enable effective customer access to the full range of services provided by the Public Realm service. You will be the first point of contact for public enquiries regarding the services with particular emphasis on Allotments.

Monday to Friday 09:00am till 17:30pm.

This is a contract running from May until August.

Duties will include:

  • Enabling members of the public and service users to access and engage with services across the Public Realm.
  • Provide an effective response to enquiries recieved by email, phone, correspondance and personal contact and to promote good practise and a positive customer outcome.
  • Assist in maintenance of records including assets, allotment sites, tenancy/license details.
  • Lead on the administration and assist in the delivery of the allotment service and administration of arboricultural assets.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience providing a frontline customer support service.
  • Ability to use a range of office software to administer transactional services.
  • Able to resolve customer enquiries and deliver positive customer outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • "Can do" attitude and a problem solving approach
