Assistant Management Accountant

I am seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-known company within the automotive industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in financial administration.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of management accounts and perform a variety of accounting tasks to support the finance team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts following standard procedures.
- Prepare, monitor, and control analyses for prepayments and accruals.
- Supervise daily bank reconciliations to statements and process petty cash payments, maintaining adequate records.
- Maintain and process the company payroll, including HMRC payments and related administrative functions.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Prepare and process internal financial controls inputs/reconciliations and report to senior management.
- Prepare VAT reconciliations and submissions.
- Assist Group Accounts Manager/Group Accountant as needed and provide cover for other team members during absences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
