About us
Ascend Talent is seeking an Account Assistant to join an accident repair centre based in Greater Manchester. As an account assistant you will be handling all payment in and out the system. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.
Job Role: As a Accounts Assistant your duties include sending and paying invoices for varied customers including individual and corporate daily. Chasing late payments/ credit control and reconciling company accounts. Preparing and entering journals into accounts software, as well as supporting accountant in month end duties.
Experience:
- Background of Accounts Role, Financial Assistant, Accounts Assistant etc
- Experience using integrated systems
- Desirable experience using Emacs and Xero or Accounts role in motortrade
- Experience generating P&L's
- Professional Telephone manner
- Great communication & organisation skills
- Experience using the Microsoft Package.
Package/ Benefits:
- Salary £32k.
- 24 days Holiday plus bank holidays, goes up with service, maxes at 28.
- 40 hour week.
