Elevation Senior Finance are recruiting a qualified Accountant to join the operational finance team of a successful listed manufacturing business.
The role reports to the Senior Operations Accountant, and the successful candidate will be an integral part of the operations finance team who are responsible for all aspects of financial and management reporting for the Group's Operations, comprising the Production, Recycling and Supply chain functions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Act as a strategic business partner to the site leadership team
- Conduct financial appraisals and corresponding cost tracking of strategic initiatives
- Have a good understanding of and the ability to perform variance analysis for P&L line items, including raw materials, other manufacturing costs and overheads
- Have an understanding of the concepts of manufacturing efficiencies, production yield and overhead cost absorption
- Preparation of operational dashboards (KPIs) & commentary for internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to interpret results for production leadership teams
- Tracking of Continuous Improvement initiatives
- CAPEX reporting and monthly forecasting
Key skills / qualifications:
- CIMA / ACCA qualified accountant
- Experience working within manufacturing
- SAP system experience beneficial, particularly production and financial modules
- Full UK driver's license required
