Antony James recruitment is currently supporting a client in Bourne End recruiting for a Head Chef offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 with TRONC bringing the total package to roughly £55,000.

My client in Bourne End is a vibrant and contemporary Tapas bar on the River. Renowned for its chic decor and relaxed atmosphere, my client offers an eclectic menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and a fusion of traditional and modern cuisine. You will only work 5 of the 7 on a rota basis working straights.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining current knowledge of culinary trends and procedures
  • Ensuring that kitchen workers follow quality, hygiene, and cleanliness requirements
  • Interacting with suppliers and ensuring they provide high-quality products at reasonable costs.
  • Keeping an eye on stock levels and placing orders when necessary
  • Managing culinary equipment upkeep and scheduling repairs as necessary
  • Managing employee concerns, such as sick leave and attendance, and imposing discipline when needed
  • Creating new recipes and revamping menus to draw in more customers
  • Ensuring that visitors have a delightful dining experience and receive exceptional service
