11 HOUR SHIFT PATTERN ROTATING WEEKLY

WEEK 1: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY - START TIMES BETWEEN 06.00 - 08.00

WEEK 2: MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY - START TIMES BETWEEN 06.00 - 08.00

£26,558 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are looking for an Administrator for our client based in Stockport.

As an Administrator, you will be providing both clerical and administrative support to the business, either as part of a team or individually.

This is a 12 month fixed term contact to cover maternity leave.

You will be working 11 hour rotating shifts. The start times are flexible between 06.00 and 08.00, allowing you to choose a start time that suits you best.

Day to Day Duties

As an Administrator, your duties will involve but not be limited to:

  • You will be working in the logistics department, making sure the day-to-day transport operation is running smooth
  • You'll be responsible for the accurate debriefing of all drivers and providing essential administrative support to the management team
  • Ensure driver tachograph cards are downloaded and processed
  • Collaborate with the Customer Contact Department to resolve issues and complaints within a timely manner
  • Use POD data to resolve customer claims
  • Completing reports such as; daily, weekly, or periodic loss and delivery reports
  • Provide administrative support to the Logistics Management Team when needed
  • Photocopy and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
  • Use a word processing package such as Microsoft 365 and Word
  • Support the Logistics Management Team when needed

Essential Skills

The following skills are essential for this role:

  • Minimum of one year experience as an Administrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • The ability to plan your work diary, use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise task and workload
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working as an Administrator is essential.

  • Full training will provided for this role.
