We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely acquisition of goods and services. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and managing supplier relationships to negotiate favourable terms and contracts.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Create and implement category strategies to optimise procurement processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including ethical sourcing practices and diversity initiatives.
- Work under the Head of Procurement to reduce costs without compromising on quality or performance.
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, risks, and pricing.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, ethical sourcing, regulation, and professional standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in category management and implementing category plans and strategies.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to take ownership of workloads and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
