Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 DOE

Role Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor, ranging from Assistant to Intermediate level, to join our Manchester-based team. The successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor, playing a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of various projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth, with exposure to a diverse range of projects within the office fit-out, refurbishment, and broader construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the financial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the required standards.

Work alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor, supporting with cost management, contract administration, and procurement processes.

Prepare and evaluate tender documents, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.

Monitor project progress, including site visits, to assess and report on budget performance.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Contribute to value engineering and risk management strategies to maximize project profitability.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the office fit-out and refurbishment sector.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, CostX, or similar).

A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Additional Information:

Hybrid working model, combining office, site, and home-based work.

Car allowance and competitive salary up to £55,000, depending on experience.

Twice annual bonus and participation in an End of Year Bonus (EOT) scheme.
