Responsibilities:

  • Tailor your support to meet the individualised learning needs of students with SEN.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of personalised education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
  • Establish effective communication channels with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
  • Regularly assess the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
  • Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in various teaching techniques suitable for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Thorough understanding of child development and the learning process.
  • Strong commitment to building positive relationships with students and understanding their needs.
  • Ability to offer personalised attention, encouragement, and support with learning tasks.
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
