Annual Salary/Hourly Rate: £14.50 per hour

Contract Duration: 6 months

Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hours/week

Job Description:

We are seeking a Recruiter for our client to work collaboratively with stakeholders to meet regional and business unit resourcing demands. You will be responsible for providing reliable and confident customer service, ensuring an excellent candidate experience that aligns with our Source, Train, and Retain Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Management: Handle all agency site-based resource requirements, working closely with operational teams within the regions.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from liaising with stakeholders to understanding resourcing requirements, to conducting face-to-face/TEAMS interviews.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new hires.
  • Job Advertising: Advertise job openings on various job boards.
  • CV/Application Screening: Review and screen CVs and applications.
  • Candidate Feedback: Provide feedback as needed and respond to candidate queries regarding the hiring process.
  • Job Description Updates: Update job descriptions and modify requirements as necessary.
  • Reporting: Report to the Recruitment Manager and hiring managers on the status of open jobs.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Source candidates via online platforms and create talent pools.
  • Events Participation: Participate in careers and job fairs to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
  • Collaboration: Work in a collaborative approach with the Preferred Supplier List (PSL).
  • Administration: Update recruitment trackers, metrics, and produce recruitment reports. Provide administrative support as required.
  • Stakeholder Meetings: Attend meetings to stay informed on future and current recruitment needs.

Collaborative Working:

  • Build strong collaborative relationships externally with the PSL and internally with stakeholders.
  • Challenge existing practices and seek continuous improvement.
  • Develop trusted relationships with candidates to ensure high levels of engagement.

  • Timely and consistent department reports.
  • Efficient time-to-fill metrics for positions.
  • High-quality candidates.
  • Strong engagement with all stakeholders.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Experience in meeting challenging deadlines in a fast-paced recruitment/resourcing environment.
  • Background in working within an agency or in-house as a Recruitment Consultant/Internal Recruiter.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the built environment, ideally in Civil Engineering.
  • REC or equivalent recruitment qualification.

Tickets/Training/Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience in meeting challenging deadlines in a fast-paced recruitment/resourcing environment.
  • A background in working within an agency or in-house as a recruitment consultant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
