Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be communicating with all site operations, the role involves:
- Maintaining, Health & Safety Management System records
- Reviewing and monitoring data to assist site regulatory compliance
- Providing Environmental, Health & Safety support to site to ensure that site standards are met and maintained
- Assisting in improvement activities to drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Providing support to assure the management systems and documentation are standardised, organised and are maintained current and up to date
- Undertaking workplace inspections and audits
- Assist in the delivery of Health & Safety training to employees
- Contribute in the planning of emergency response drills (internally & externally)
- Manage inspections of firefighting and detection systems
- Monitor the site for hazards
It would be ideal if you were to come from a similar role, however a previosu role with some HSE will be considered
Be self-motivated with strong initiative and interpersonal skills
A NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable but not necessarily essential, training could be provided for the right candidate
