Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Hove / Accountancy
Client Details
A well established organisation based in Hove seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant on a temp to perm basis.
Description
As a Part-Time Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Managing the general accounts and supporting accounts manager
- Setting up new accounts for suppliers and subcontractors
- Checking & processing purchase invoices. Making sure purchasing invoices and payment requests are correctly calculated, approved, and coded
- Processing payment certificates (calculate CIS deduction, recognise correct VAT)
- Amending and maintaining information in the system, ensure all accounts are kept tidy and details are up to date (updating insurances/terms & conditions/ bank details)
- Checking monthly statements
- Assisting with end of month reporting, ensuring invoices and credits are regularly checked and cleared down, queries logged are investigated
- Dealing with supplier/ subcontractors queries (internal & external)
- Input construction wages
- Preparation of urgent payment requests
- Keeping good relations with suppliers/subcontractors as the office team
- Covering other aspects finance department
Profile
To be successful for the role you will need to be able to:
- Do part-time hours (3 days a week)
