We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to enhancing the educational experience and life chances of our students. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values collaboration, enthusiasm for languages, and a shared commitment to excellence in education.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum across all key stages (KS3, KS4, and KS5), ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students, acting as a Teacher/Tutor.
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning environment that provides students with opportunities to progress and excel.
  • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and support the school's goals for academic growth.
  • Lead, monitor, and evaluate the assessment and feedback to students, maintaining high standards in line with school and department policies.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school procedures, promoting good practices in punctuality, behaviour, and standards of work.
  • Assess, record, and report on the attendance, progress, development, and attainment of students, maintaining accurate records as required.
  • Engage with pastoral leaders to implement the Student Support system effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable passion for education and improving student outcomes.
  • Ability to deliver a differentiated curriculum that caters to the needs of all students.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in teaching MFL across various key stages.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing environments.
