Type: 6-month Fixed Term Contract (potential to extend)
Salary: £23,000-£25,000 per annum - Depending on experience
Hours: 08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday
Role Description:
The Customer Service Executive plays a vital role in the business's daily operations. The Customer Service Department is responsible for processing direct customer orders as well as fulfilling orders for national accounts. This involves managing stock, coordinating logistics, and maintaining a high standard of efficiency and accuracy.
In addition to order management, the department serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries. This requires strong communication skills, a clear understanding of customer needs, and in-depth product knowledge. Customer Service Executives assist with requests related to refunds, exchanges, and product repairs.
Adaptability is crucial in this role, as new challenges can arise unexpectedly. The ideal candidate will be proactive and confident in tackling these challenges as they emerge.
Role Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed about common issues to provide customers with effective solutions. When information is not immediately available, take initiative to research and follow up with the customer.
- Carry out administrative duties such as processing orders, handling returns, and arranging repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless business operations.
- Undertake additional tasks as required to support the evolving needs of the business.
