Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Teaching and Learning Manager – Higher Education (Creative Industries) at our West Durrington campus. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £42,067 – £45,636 per annum.

As our Teaching and Learning Manager for Higher Education, Creative Industries, you will work collaboratively with your highly motivated and vibrant team to design, develop, manage and review programmes in the curriculum area, ensuring student needs are met through inclusive high quality learning and provision. The work you do with your team will ensure that the student journey at Northbrook College is the best it can possibly be and give the students a learning experience they will remember.

As a Teaching and Learning Manager, you will also have a positive impact on staff within your curriculum team. You will support staff to enhance and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment by coaching and providing advice, whilst encouraging and supporting risk taking and innovation.

Although primarily a management position, the Teaching and Learning Manager role requires you to teach 3 hours per week, which will enable you to lead by example and ensure you are able to continue your teaching directly with students that inspired you to start your teaching career in the first place.

Our Teaching and Learning Manager will hold a full teaching qualification and a degree in a related subject. You will bring a wealth of teaching experience from the Higher Education sector and be able to demonstrate up-to-date teaching methodologies. You will have experience of Quality Assurance processes in Higher Education enabling you to support teams in validation, revalidations and other activities required by our Validating University.
