Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: up to £80k, depending on experience and full benefits package.

Start Date: 1st January 2025

This school is part of a group that looks after 2,100 children and employs over 4,000 people across a portfolio of 224 residential facilities, and specialist schools.

They are seeking a inspirational school leader with a passion to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people with SEND. This opportunity provides you to take a school from good to great and to enjoy great success.

This is a special school that offers fantastic opportunities for up to 64 children and young people with a primary diagnosed of Autism and who have an EHCP. The school is well very well subscribed with a strong pipeline and our educational offer is valued by local authorities and the parents/carers we serve. Over the past three years the academic performance of the school has been in the top quartile for independent special schools and the variety of curriculum on offer is very much appreciated by the young people and their parents/carers.

The school is also set in a stunning location near Towcester, Northamptonshire, and the internal environment creates an inspiring place of learning where young people receive the specialist education and multi-disciplinary care they need. Each young person is given an individually tailored and holistic programme of support, preparing them well for adulthood. You will also find a highly motivated and committed staff team delivering rich and innovative experiences.

They are looking for an outstanding leader with previous experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Head. You will have a deep understanding of SEN and be motivated to further build and develop an inspiring vision for the school. You will have experience in raising standards and understand the regulatory environment.
