Head of Sales Tamworth - Full Time

Salary upto £65,000

A fantastic, top Tamworth firm, known to us as a client for many years are keen to add an experienced Head of Sales to their already impressive team on a full time basis. As a Head of Sales, Establish sales across geographical and critical business areas that exceed company objectives and establish a strong market presence across all services offered. A focus on developing and leading the sales team to deliver against business targets. An active and experienced member of the senior leadership team who works alongside the Head of Legal Practice (HOLP) and Head of Financial Affairs (HOFA) to drive towards the company's strategic aims and maintains detailed awareness in their area of accountability. Critical understanding of changes in legislation and market forces whilst demonstrating a commitment to business KPIs and company values.

Based in well-equipped offices in an impressive setting, close to commuter links, the Head of Sales will benefit from working with a cohesive team of Lawyers, Sales and Fee Earners to deliver a high quality of a full range of Head of Sales duties.

Duties and responsibilities of the Head of Sales:

  • Accountable for progress against sales forecasts for each office and every product area and the ability to work with the management team to drive results in line with objectives
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the organization's overall business goals and objectives
  • This includes defining target markets, setting sales targets, and creating plans to penetrate new markets
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure individual and team success
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, such as revenue, sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and projections based on market trends, historical data, and input from the sales team
  • Use this information to inform resource allocation, budgeting, and business decisions
  • Continuously improve the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to increase efficiency
  • Visibility across all business locations and awareness of the challenges at each location
  • Evaluating and improving marketing campaigns to ensure that the lead to sales conversions metrics are met
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, key initiatives, challenges, and opportunities
  • Clearly communicate sales strategies and goals to the sales team
  • Develop relationships with clients and suppliers and take part in networking and sales events
  • Work with social media and marketing to ensure a match with company objectives and to clarify how projects and initiatives impact sales performance

Skills Required:

  • A degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field
  • A proven track record of success in sales roles, progressively advancing in responsibilities. Direct experience in B2B or B2C sales
  • Experience in sales of legal and conveyancing services
  • Proven ability to develop sales in an organisation
