Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £50k - £60k + Excellent Benefits
The Client:
Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy firm, offering wide range of services in construction & property across the UK.
The Role:
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you'll fulfil Senior Building Surveyor and Employers Agent roles, supporting our Project Management division.
In this role you will be required to travel to fulfil project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct defects analysis and report writing.
- Manage dilapidations.
- Perform building surveys and produce various reports.
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) surveys.
- Administer contracts and act as Employers Agent.
- Write specifications for minor works and maintenance projects.
- Supervise sites and monitor construction progress.
- Handle party wall matters.
- Liaise effectively with design teams, colleagues, and clients.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as a Building Surveyor in a similar role.
- Relevant educational background with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Hold a degree, preferably with RICS accreditation.
- Hold a MRICS certification.
- Skilled in IT.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills.
