Intervention Team Leader

Salary: £32,000-£40,000 + bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, Hours between 8.00am to 8:00pm, one or two Saturdays per month, between 9am and 3pm. (hybrid working available)

Location: Birmingham

MPJ Recruitment are currently representing a fast-paced entrepreneurial business who specialise in the motor insurance industry. Our client act within the intervention, hire and repair sector of the insurance claims process and their management team boast over 40 years experience in the industry.

This is a great opportunity to join a relatively new business that is growing at a rapid rate and looking to expand their team to over 200 people in the near future.

Intervention Team Leader Duties:

  • Leading a team, motivating them and building rapport whilst establishing a high-performance culture.
  • Take responsibility for your own development.
  • Review and allocate claims, ensuring strategies are set.
  • Undertaking reviews for files within your team to ensure your team attain required quality standards.
  • Identify training needs across your team and recommend appropriate training solutions.
  • Holding regular 1-2-1's with your team.
  • Drive continuous improvement within claims handling.
  • Monitor staff performance, productivity, sickness and holidays. Liaising with HR, when necessary, on unsatisfactory performance
  • Assist with recruitment of claims handlers and support staff when requested.
  • Presenting to colleagues of various levels in a way which motivates and sets expectations for quality and performance standards.
  • Ensure we're always compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Assist with the preparation of client, team and sector analysis and statistics.
