Astral Legal have partnered with a Global Fintech company as they are recruiting a Commercial/ Regulatory Counsel. You will play a crucial role in drafting and reviewing a wide range of global contracts whilst offering valuable insights on contractual issues and disputes.
You will be responsible for ensuring the company are adhering to regulatory requirements and the regulatory and compliance frameworks are in place throughout the group. You will work closely with regulators and legal professionals ensuring my clients operations remain fully compliant and managing legal risk.
The ideal Commercial/ Regulatory Counsel will provide:
- You will provide expert legal advice on marketing matters across various jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Legal counsel to the group on key agreements in various jurisdictions.
- Advising on tax, marketing, and corporate matters including cross-border transactions
- Draft and review policies, assist with licensing, and ensure ongoing compliance of all entities, maintaining high standards and meeting legal obligations.
- Working with senior leadership informed of legal and regulatory changes that impact the company, providing recommendations to proactively address potential risks.
- Develop strategies to prevent and resolve disputes, positive and compliant work environment.
As a Commercial/ Regulatory Counsel you will possess the following.
- Experience in Fintech/Financial Services
- Understanding of regulations governing the fintech industry
- Experience handing Regulatory/ Compliance Legal issues at a Global level
- Experienced working with senior stakeholders.
