Are you a detail-oriented professional with a background in manufacturing? Join our dynamic team as a Purchasing Administrator! We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a dedicated individual to manage procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer various purchasing functions for KUK & KGE, including Glovia & SAP updates, supplier performance monitoring, modern slavery checks, invoicing, finance queries, and D&B credit checks.
- Support the Consumable Buyer by processing orders, requesting quotes, and liaising with internal departments.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and track progress.
- Assist in trial parts preparation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Establish strong working relationships with all departments and gain in-depth product knowledge.
- Conduct benchmarking activities and analyze supplier quotes to generate cost comparisons.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Visit suppliers as needed, individually or as part of a team.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as being a team player
- Some experience within a purchasing environment preferred, with relevant training provided
Experience:
- Previous experience in a related environment, ideally within automotive manufacturing
Education/Training:
- Business discipline qualification OR minimum 1 year purchasing experience
