Private Client Solicitor - Head of Department - Succession Planning

Opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor OR Legal Executive to join this local practice based in the South Lakeland region and service a local client base from the surrounding areas. This opportunity is for an experienced Solicitor wanting to take the step into management, or an existing Head of Department / Partner looking to move to an established firm in the South Lakeland area. There is scope for this role to offer Partnership as the existing Partner is looking to take a step back from the business in the near future.

Despite being a traditional practice, this firm have recently implemented new systems that will allow you to work remotely and have the flexibility you desire. You will however be required to work from the office for client visits and meetings.

This position will involve a real mixed bag of work and will see you deal with anything from basic wills & probate matter right the way through to complex trusts & estates, as well as court of protection and LPA's. The client base will also be varied and see you deal with local clients from the surrounding areas alongside high net worth clients from the wide Lake District region, including agricultural clients.

Ideally you will be comfortable with business development and able to generate new work for the department, as this law firm rely on their pro-active solicitors to keep income flowing. With this being a local high street firm work/life balance is a real benefit and you will not be expected to work long hours, however the occasional evening surgery will be required.
