Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Finance Business Partner in Bracknell. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer hybrid working
The job:
- To be the lead financial advisor to an Executive Director, Members, Assistant Directors and external groups
- Responsible for planning and leading complex projects for a Directorate, including analysing the financial and non-financial implications of changes in the law, policies and strategies
- To lead effective liaison, negotiations and communications with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to ensure financial management considerations are properly considered
The candidate:
- CCAB qualified
- In depth knowledge of local authority accounting guidance and practice.
- Experience of using Agresso
- Working knowledge of Adult Social Care and / or housing is desirable
