Programming Assistant

Do you have an enthusiasm for bringing engaging stories to life? If so, this could be the role for you.

You'll assist in the delivery of a programme of activities and events during our exciting Summer of Play offer at Croome. By doing so, you'll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.

Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 08-Sep-2024. Proposed start date is 15-July-2024

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the year.

You'll work 192 hours over the duration of the contract, and on average, you'll work 6 hours a day, usually between 9.30am and 4pm working 4 days across the week on a rota basis, but again, this will be flexible depending on operational demand. Weekend working is essential.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Visitor Operations and Experience manager, you'll ensure the smooth running of our exciting summer offer. Whether you are running our crafting sessions, engaging with our visitors, or keeping everything to the highest of standards.

What you'll be doing

Working with the team, you'll create and deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You'll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You'll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.
