Junior Sustainability Consultant

My client is a leading sustainability consultancy who work on various multidisciplined projects across all sectors of the industry. They are currently on the lookout for a Junior Sustainability Consultant to join their team of Energy and Low Carbon experts in their new office in Oxford.
Role responsibilities for a Junior Sustainability Consultant include:
- Carry out BREEAM and HQM reports based off construction site visits, as well as the completion of BREEAM and HQM assessments.
- Carrying out Local Planning Authority policy searches to work out requirements when submitting planning applications
- Produce sustainability statements to go alongside planning applications
- Support GRESB Real Estate benchmark submissions by undertaking energy and waste performance data reviews for real estate asset management funds
Role requirements for a Junior Sustainability Consultant include:
- Relevant degree within a sustainability or environmental science field, having demonstratable knowledge of energy and sustainability legislations and standards
- A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience within a Sustainability Consultant role
- Have a good knowledge of sustainability assessment methods such as BREEAM
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving license
- Good knowledge of Net-Zero Carbon and Dynamic Simulation Modelling would be advantageous
