Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a BI Reporting Specialist to join an expanding organisation in Peterborough. The role is permanent, paying around £40,000 per annum, and is a hybrid opportunity
The Role:
- Utilise existing data models, warehouses, and ETL processes to extract and prepare relevant information for analysis and reporting
- Create, optimise, and maintain BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Continuously improve dashboard functionality and user experience based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data represented in reports and dashboards, adhering to data governance policies and relevant data protection regulations
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and the Customer Insights Specialist to understand reporting needs and enhance data analysis capabilities
The Person:
- Strong experience in using BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) for data visualisation and dashboard creation
- Solid understanding of data analysis, interpretation, and preparation, including experience with data warehouses, databases, and ETL processes
- Understanding of data governance principles and experience in implementing data quality measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with analysts, and enhance data literacy among end-users
