Hours: Full time: 39.75 per week (Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:30; Friday 7:30-1.15pm)
Contract: Temp to perm
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for Assembly / Sewing Operators on behalf of their client.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and able to work under their own initiative, assembling bespoke furniture and accessories
Responsibilities:
- Verifying the correct quantities of components parts
- Using hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products
- Inspecting and testing the equipment
- Reading instructions and designs before assembling products
- Using templates to assemble products correctly
- Sewing of materials may be required, depending upon work placement.
Requirements:
- Reading comprehension: Assemblers need to read and understand manuals or assembly drawings
- Machinery maintenance
- Physical fitness
Training will be provided upon induction.
