An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Workshop Manager to join our forward-thinking company. Supported by Yolk Recruitment, I am seeking a motivated individual who can quickly demonstrate efficiency and production improvements within our manufacturing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to advance their career within an expanding and prosperous business.

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Assign tasks to staff and ensure daily motivation to safely boost productivity.
  • Manage workflow across multiple factory sites, ensuring processes are maintained in line with company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate with customers and clients as needed.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control.
  • Oversee all stages of workshop operations, including fabrication and machine shop delivery, to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide training and assistance to employees.
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met throughout the business.
  • Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to the Health and Safety Manager/Operations Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety procedures throughout the workshop and other factory areas at all times.
  • Collaborate with Designer Engineers on methods to improve product and production efficiency.
  • Ensure all work meets the company's high standards of quality and production.

  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing background.
  • Proficiency in IT software, such as Microsoft packages.
