Are you an experienced mathematics teacher with a passion for supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties (BESD)? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic maths specialist to join the school, catering to KS3 and KS4 students in small classes of 4-5 pupils, providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons tailored to the needs of BESD pupils.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants to provide individualized support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with BESD pupils.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
