Financial Controller

Working with a well respected FD, the Financial Controller will help to drive the financial performance of the business. The role will report to the Finance Director who needs a right hand person to support the management and development of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- To assist with development and roll out of processes and best practice across finance department
- Preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts and cash reporting
- Working with teams to review and understand monthly costs whilst improving reporting accuracy;
- Production of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Maintain accurate cashflow forecasting and work closely with Commercial Director regarding supplier payments
- Production of monthly cost reports, working with commercial department to ensure all costs are captured and allocated correctly
- Other Adhoc requests as required
Experience / Qualifications
- Must be ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified
- Proven Staff management and motivation skills.
- Hands on with ability to get into the detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong skills in accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
- Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Inquisitive
