Description
- Support the Senior Finance Manager to prepare, and critically review, the divisional monthly results
- Prepare and present monthly reporting and interpretations of divisional financial performance by activity and/or area
- Visit sites to challenge financial performance and coach financial awareness
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure financial compliance.
- Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
- Drive process improvements within the finance department.
- Provide financial expertise and advice to senior management.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A strong academic background in accounting or finance.
- Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
