Defour Partnership is working closely with an award winning Charity recruiting for an Employee Relations Specialist.

This is a full time, permanent post and you can be based anywhere in the North West but must be able to travel to their office in Widnes as and when required.

Competitive Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum plus benefits including the option to work a 4 day week.

Flexibility! You can work your full time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments.

Remote Working! Do you want to work from home ? Or do you prefer being in an office ? With this role you have the option of working remotely or from their head office in Widnes - or a blend between the two! Regular travel to the Head office in Widnes will be required. You'll also need to be able to travel nationally occasionally.

Day to Day you'll be:

  • You will be part of a centre of excellence providing expert advice, coaching and support to the regional people teams.
  • This is a wide ranging, varied and challenging role which will suit someone who wishes to develop their specialist experience in employee relations and enjoys dealing with a range of different case work such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, TUPE, medical capability, redundancy and restructure and flexible working.
  • The role will involve the creation and delivery of training to upskill the regional people teams and operational colleagues.

Experience

  • Proven experience of managing complex employee relations cases and have a full and detailed understanding of HR policies and employment law.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but experienced candidates will be considered.
  • Experience of writing policies, procedures and guidance materials
  • Health and Social Care sector experience is desirable
  • Experience of creating and delivering training in the effective management of ER matters
  • Redundancy, reorganisation and change of terms processes experience
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast paced commercial environment
