Corporate Tax Assistant Manager / Manager

Butler Rose are pleased to be assisting a prestigious, top 60 firm that is seeking a Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join it's specialist Corporate Tax Team. This is an interesting and varied role that provides real scope for personal and career development.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior managers and partners, assisting with tax compliance and advisory matters in terms of preparation and review
- Draft computations, letters and reports for manager/ partner review
- Prepare key client reporting documents
- Be involved with various tax compliance and advisory projects
- Develop client relationships
Personal Requirements
- Recent experience within a professional practice environment
- Working knowledge of corporate and business tax is essential
- ICAEW/ACCA or ATT qualified
- Prior CTA qualification would be advantageous, alternatively the firm will provide study support to embark on/ continue the CTA qualification
- Experience using Alphatax and CCH software would be advantageous, but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A driving licence and access to transport is essential. The successful candidate(s) will need to be prepared to undertake some travel between Cambridgeshire offices and to client sites in the region. The roles can be combined with an element of homeworking under the firm's agile working policy.
This role offers a great opportunity if you are looking to build on existing knowledge and develop a specialism going forward. The firm will fully support transition from a general practice role, if applicable.
