Quantity Surveyor

We are a well-established contractor based in Stockport, specializing in New Build and Fit-Out projects for a diverse range of clients. Our portfolio includes exciting ventures across the Retail, Food Retail, and Automotive sectors, working with prestigious brands within the automotive industry. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Involvement: Manage Fit-Out projects initially valued at £500K, with the opportunity to progress to larger New Build projects as the role develops.
Estimating Duties: Support with estimating as needed, working closely with the team to provide accurate cost projections.
Client Management: Liaise with both internal and external clients, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
Cost Management: Prepare and manage budgets, conduct cost analysis, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Site & Office-Based Work: Split your time between the office in Stockport and various project sites across the Northwest region.
Client Sectors: Work with clients in Retail (including drive-through establishments) and Automotive sectors (car showrooms and dealerships).
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
Experience with New Build and/or Fit-Out projects is highly desirable.
Estimating experience or a willingness to take on estimating responsibilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge of project management, budgeting, and cost control.
Salary:
Competitive, dependent on experience (DOE).
