Premier Group is currently seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join a growing client in Hemel Hempstead. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our various projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis to understand project requirements and objectives
- Creating detailed design plans and blueprints using computer-aided design CAD software (Solidworks)
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to ensure designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Testing and evaluating prototypes to identify and resolve any design flaws or issues
- Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
- Documenting design specifications and preparing reports for management and clients
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer in a similar role
- Previous design experience is retail or POS
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
