We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our client's Further Education college in Oxfordshire. This role involves teaching GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on our students' educational journey.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the curriculum standards for GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to review and enhance curriculum and teaching methods.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification in Maths or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
