Payroll Manager - Ceridian Dayforce

Are you a payroll manager with experience setting up end to end processes and supporting system implementations?

Our client is a national partnership of leading independent insurance brokers specializing in property and casualty and employee benefits.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK and Ireland regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dayforce and Workday systems, system implementation knowledge, benefit administration and a strong understanding of payroll processes and best practice .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire payroll function for the organisation. Ownership of the monthly payroll ensuring all payroll changes are submitted to our outsourcer accurately, ensuring efficient running and deadlines are met (outsourced through Dayforce).
  • Be the subject matter expert in payroll across UK&I, playing a role in analytics and other projects to support the business (ie gender pay gap reporting).
  • Utilise Dayforce and Workday systems to process and manage payroll and benefit data.
  • Play a leading role in initial build of the payroll module of the Workday HRIS system
  • Lead data gathering and support the implementation of payroll systems and enhancements
  • Work with the corporate payroll team in the US and ensure alignment with global payroll strategies.

Qualifications:

  • CIPP qualified or similar.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll systems, preferably Dayforce and Workday.
  • Experience with payroll system implementation and enhancements.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK and Ireland payroll regulations and legislation.
