Job Title: ESOL Tutor
Location: Barking, London
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Role Overview:
As an ESOL Tutor, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students aged 14-19, particularly those with complex needs and behaviours. You will play a key role in behaviour management and ensure excellent outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ESOL students from pre-entry level to Level 2
- Create an inclusive and inspirational learning environment
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Support student progression and engage with parents
- Maintain discipline and foster a supportive atmosphere in the classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality education
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and safeguarding practices
- Experience in teaching young people with complex needs
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
Desirable:
- Degree in a related subject
- Experience working with disengaged or hard-to-reach young people
