Financial Accountant – Bradford | c£50,000
Join a dynamic European Finance Centre (EFC) in Bradford and take your career to the next level! Elevation Senior Finance is partnering with a leading business to find a proactive Financial Accountant ready to make an impact.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll drive accurate period-end reporting, maintain balance sheet integrity, process journal entries, and mentor junior staff. Plus, you'll get involved in exciting ad hoc projects!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly financial accounting for EFC EMEA entities
- Collaborate with FP&A, in-country finance, operations, and HR for precise reporting
- Be the go-to for internal/external auditors
- Prepare and approve balance sheet reconciliations
- Conduct detailed variance analysis on financial reports
- Support year-end statutory and tax compliance
- Help maintain SOX compliance and handle other ad-hoc tasks
What We're Looking For:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA part or fully qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred) and a European language (a plus!)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently
