Digital Learning Specialist

Role: Digital Learning Specialist Rate: £227 p/d Inside IR35 Location: Somerset HQ - Fully Remote Duration: 6 months initial - 4 day working week

Your role will be to work with the team to build digital learning content in preparation for moving from one LMS platform to another. You will design and build digital training solutions, collaborating with key stakeholders as well as L&D colleagues in ensuring that the right digital solutions are in place for our colleagues.

Experience required:

  • Experience of using authoring tools and Adobe InDesign to develop digital learning content.
  • Experience of using a Learning Management System or web design to deliver learning content.
  • Previous experience in successfully delivering digital learning to a range of audiences.
  • Able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of learning and development techniques and approaches including learner experience and learning accessibility.
  • Learning design theory including understanding of delivering learning to those with neurodiversity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create or evolve a range of digital learning solutions, to meet operational needs and business priorities from a range of stakeholders. This will include key deliverables such as induction & onboarding, compliance, retail specific and management training.
  • Utilise the Learning Management System to offer the most appropriate learning solution for the customer always considering the users need, experience and transfer of learning.
  • Advise stakeholders including learning & development, health & safety and legal professionals on the most suitable learning offer for the needs of the business whilst meeting the learning needs and learning experience of the colleague.
  • Effectively build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand learning and development needs.
  • Review current learning content with stakeholders to look for opportunities to improve current learning offer from different perspectives of system functionality, business need and neurodiversity.
