HR Officer

Company and role overview -

We seek an independent, highly motivated individual to join our HR team. This role involves generalist HR responsibilities and requires close collaboration as a key member of our small HR team. Your main duties will include accurately inputting monthly payroll data, handling pension submissions, drafting various correspondences (such as change of terms letters, contracts, etc.), overseeing mandatory employee checks, assisting with employee training bookings, supporting the onboarding and offboarding processes, aiding in recruitment as needed, and managing miscellaneous HR tasks as they arise.

Main responsibilities -

  • Acting as the primary contact for all payroll inquiries, handling and executing payroll processing monthly, facilitating communication between the HR department and employees/managers regarding any payroll issues, and coordinating with external payroll provider Cintra for processing
  • Submitting pension contributions monthly following completion of payroll processing
  • Conducting HR inductions for new employees, sending welcome emails, and organizing company-wide inductions
  • Assisting in scheduling employee training sessions and managing training requests, including quarterly company-wide induction sessions

Requirements -

  • Experience as an HR generalist, aiding a dynamic HR team with tasks such as handling new hires, departures, data entry, providing counsel, and facilitating employee training
  • Proficient in monthly payroll input and verification, with a solid grasp of payroll procedures
  • Demonstrated strong organizational abilities, adept at balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to achieving accuracy on the first attempt
