eCommerce Marketplace Manager

Our client, a leading e-commerce business, is seeking a talented eCommerce Marketplace Manager to join their growing team.

On behalf of our client, we are searching for a results-oriented individual to take ownership of their Amazon strategy and unlock further growth.

About the role:

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness across our client's Amazon channels, including FBA, Pan-EU, and their store. You will become a key player in their e-commerce team, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Become a Mirakl platform expert, identifying opportunities to leverage this channel for sales growth.
  • Conduct a deep dive into current Amazon strategies to identify areas for improvement and recommend data automation/optimisation initiatives.
  • Lead the ongoing development and execution of their FBA strategy, ensuring optimal product assortment and stock levels.
  • Define the strategy for their store, utilising sponsored brands to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with the 360-seller team to extract maximum value from their insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Develop and implement a winning A+ content strategy to enhance product listings.
  • Champion the successful launch of the Pan-EU channel, liaising with various teams to ensure a smooth rollout.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and manage new sales channels as business needs evolve.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon account managers and contacts to leverage all available support and opportunities.
  • Continuously review and optimise Amazon Ads performance, driving sales and brand awareness while maintaining a strong ROAS.
  • Ensure all new products are integrated into relevant advertising campaigns and their performance is reviewed. Develop a strategy to specifically boost sales of new products, with a focus on key categories.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketplace and e-commerce trends to inform ongoing strategic development.
  • Contribute to the team's long-term vision by sharing big-picture ideas that go beyond day-to-day activities.
  • Take an active role in the channel automation project to help streamline processes and reduce manual work.

Essential skills:

  • Experience with Amazon FBA
  • Experience with launching and managing sales channels on Pan-EU
  • Experience with Amazon Ads
  • Experience with marketplace growth strategies, including A+ content optimisation and new product development (NPD)

Whilst the above are Amazon-specific requirements, our client also values transferable skills from other marketplaces. These include:

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Multi-channel or multi-account management experience
  • Excellent time management skills
