Your new role
As an IT manager, you will collaborate with end users, business leads, suppliers, and partners to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and effective IT solutions and services.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead, plan, coordinate, and implement the Global IT strategy across all sites.
- Ensure the highest quality of information and business systems in a dynamic, clinical, and regulated environment.
- Maintain the continuity of IT systems while managing changing priorities and stringent deadlines.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and partners to deliver top-notch IT solutions and services.
- Handle highly sensitive financial information, business intellectual property, and business plans with utmost discretion and confidentiality.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager in a multi-site organisation, ideally global and/or with manufacturing facilities.
- ICT industry experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Team player with experience managing diverse teams within tight deadlines.
- Flexibility in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Ability to manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience handling business-critical system outages.
- Expertise in defining, implementing, and improving IT policies and processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 certified organisations and process improvement.
Desirable:
- SaaS experience.
- Experience in an Agile software development environment.
- Line management experience for day-to-day performance and long-term development of team members.
- Experience growing a Corporate IT capability from the ground up.
- Experience working in a team with remote/global managers and peers.
What you'll get in return
- £350 - £385 Per day
- 12 Month Contract
- Hybrid working (2/3 days per week in central Scotland office)
