Our Customer is a well-established sustainable travel company, renowned for offering unique travel experiences to the most remote and breathtaking locations around the world. As they continue to expand their global reach, they are seeking a hand on, pro-active, Senior E-commerce Manager to help take them from good to great.

Job Description:

We can't emphasise enough, that this is a hands-on, doer role. You've got to enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting under the bonnet of and building ecommerce websites that support a customer journey from desire through to research and keep them coming until they are ready to book.

As the Senior E-commerce Manager, you'll be accountable for boosting online sales, improving user experience, and perfecting website performance. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing.

  • Absolute focus on tech and ecommerce building and executing a strategy that drives revenue
  • Daily health check of the website and user experience ensuring minimising bounce rates
  • Constantly looking at ways to improve the customer journey through R and D and test and learn, keeping up to date with latest technology and ways to improve the website
  • Run A/B and multivariate testing
  • Ensure building of site visibility, site interaction and turnover
  • Working with the paid team to drive business through performance media
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing and dev teams to deliver on site improvement and drive results
  • Lead an ecommerce team to success
  • Produce regular reports together with reactive and proactive plans of actions

Experience Required:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a hands on E-commerce role
  • VERY hands-on - a doer not a watcher/director
  • Extremely analytical using GA4
  • Experienced in collaborating with CRO agencies
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement successful e-commerce websites
  • Track record of reaching targets with online sales growth
  • Skilled in UX, web analysis, web design and customer flow
