We are looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal for a highly regarded law firm based in Camden, London
After an initial 4 week induction period, hybrid working of 2 days in the office and 3 days at home is on offer.
You must have recent and relevant experience in a similar role and your responsibilities will include the following:
- Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the case management system and digital client onboarding platform.
- Maintenance and update of CMS case/matter data relevant to transactions and parties.
- Processing and checking client initial documents on the case management system.
- Drafting sale contracts and other documents/correspondence.
- Instructing searches.
- Preparing for and handling completions.
- Carrying out post completion tasks including registrations at HM Land Registry and filing of SDLT returns at HMRC.
- Maintaining business diary of key dates and tasks.
- Dealing with client enquiries in person, on the telephone and by email.
- Liaising with external parties, to include other Solicitors, Estate Agents, Lenders and Mortgage Brokers.
- Compliance with Conveyancing Quality Scheme, statutory obligations and firm policies including Anti-Money Laundering.
