Altum consulting are pleased to be supporting a global luxury travel business to recruit a Part Qualified/Finalist Level Accountant. This role, reporting into the Finance Manager, is an excellent opportunity for a studying accountant to gain varied exposure within a busy Finance team.
What you'll be doing:
- Reconcile UK balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Support in ensuring all accounts are ready to be migrated to new ERP system.
- Assist with testing new ERP system where required.
- Identify financial control and process improvements, and implement changes.
- Assist in identifying operational and technical problems and to make suggestions.
What you'll be/have:
- Systems focused
- Studying towards either ACCA or CIMA
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Hands-on, can-do attitude
